Wie man diagnostiziert
Häufige Lösungen
**Replace the Output Speed Sensor (OSS):** The most frequent cause of an intermittent signal is a faulty OSS itself. Internal degradation, magnetic field issues, or sensor tip contamination can lead to erratic readings. Replacing the sensor with a high-quality OEM or equivalent part is often the direct solution.
**Repair or Replace Damaged Wiring Harness or Connector:** Frayed, corroded, or intermittently shorting wires within the OSS circuit, or a loose/damaged electrical connector, are prime suspects for intermittent issues. Repairing the specific damaged section of the harness or replacing the entire connector will restore proper circuit integrity.
**Clean Debris from Sensor Tip and Tone Ring:** Although less common for an 'intermittent' code versus a 'no signal' code, metallic debris can sometimes accumulate on the magnetic tip of the OSS or on the transmission's tone ring, causing sporadic signal interference. Removing the sensor and thoroughly cleaning both the sensor tip and the visible portion of the tone ring can resolve this.
**PCM/TCM Software Update or Replacement:** In rare instances, particularly if TSBs exist, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Transmission Control Module (TCM) may have an internal fault or outdated software that misinterprets or intermittently loses the OSS signal. A software update or, as a last resort, replacement of the control module may be necessary after ruling out all other possibilities.
