Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Range/Performance
Was bedeutet das?
Code P0101 means the MAF sensor signal is outside the expected range for the current engine operating conditions. The PCM detected that the air flow reading does not correlate with throttle position, RPM, or other sensor inputs.

Clean or Replace Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor: Often, the MAF sensor's hot wire or film becomes contaminated with dirt, oil, or debris, leading to inaccurate readings. Cleaning with a specialized MAF sensor cleaner can resolve this. If cleaning fails or the sensor is electrically faulty, replacement is necessary.
Repair Vacuum Leaks and Intake System Integrity: Identify and seal any leaks in the air intake system, including cracked intake tubes, loose clamps, faulty intake manifold gaskets, or deteriorated vacuum hoses. Any unmetered air entering the engine after the MAF sensor will cause a P0101.
Repair or Replace Damaged Wiring and Connectors: Inspect and repair any corroded, frayed, or broken wires in the MAF sensor's electrical circuit, including the connector itself. A poor electrical connection can lead to intermittent or incorrect signal transmission to the PCM.
Replace Restricted Air Filter: A severely clogged air filter can restrict airflow, causing the MAF sensor to read lower than expected for the engine's demand, triggering a P0101.
