Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Intermittent
Was bedeutet das?
Code P0104 means the MAF sensor signal is cutting in and out intermittently. The PCM has detected erratic or unstable voltage readings from the MAF circuit.
Defekter Luftmassenmesser (LMM)
Zu beachtende Symptome
- Motorkontrollleuchte leuchtet
- Unruhiger oder instabiler Leerlauf
- Motorschwankungen oder schwankende Drehzahl
- Zögern oder Stottern beim Beschleunigen
- Motor geht unerwartet aus
Wie man diagnostiziert
Häufige Lösungen
Clean the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor: Contamination from dirt, oil vapor, or debris on the hot wire or film element can cause erratic readings. Use only a specialized MAF sensor cleaner (never carburetor or brake cleaner) and allow it to air dry completely before reinstallation.
Repair or Replace Damaged Wiring or Connector: If the visual inspection or electrical testing reveals damaged, corroded, or loose wiring/terminals at the MAF sensor connector or in the harness, these components must be repaired or replaced. Ensure proper crimping and use heat-shrink tubing for durable, weather-resistant repairs.
Replace the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor: If cleaning and wiring checks do not resolve the intermittent issue, and live data continues to show erratic or implausible readings, the MAF sensor itself is likely faulty internally. Always use a high-quality, OEM-equivalent replacement part.
Repair Post-MAF Vacuum Leaks: If a vacuum leak was identified during diagnostics, repairing it is critical. This may involve replacing cracked vacuum hoses, intake manifold gaskets, PCV valves, or other components of the intake system.
