Cómo Diagnosticar
Soluciones Comunes
Replace the Input/Turbine Speed Sensor (ISS/TSS): This is the most frequent solution. If the sensor's live data is erratic, absent, or inconsistent with other vehicle parameters, and its circuit integrity has been verified, replacing the sensor with a high-quality OEM or equivalent aftermarket part will typically resolve the P0716 code.
Repair or Replace Damaged Wiring and Connectors: Address any identified open circuits, short circuits, or excessive resistance in the wiring harness leading to the ISS/TSS. This includes repairing frayed wires, replacing corroded or damaged connector terminals, and ensuring all connections are secure and free of contamination.
Clean the Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Tip: In some cases, metallic debris from normal transmission wear can accumulate on the magnetic tip of the sensor, interfering with its ability to accurately read the reluctor wheel. Removing the sensor and thoroughly cleaning its tip can restore proper function without needing to replace the sensor itself.
Address Internal Transmission Mechanical Issues: If the sensor and its entire circuit are confirmed to be functioning correctly, and the code persists, the underlying issue may be mechanical damage within the transmission, such as a damaged reluctor wheel on the input shaft or excessive input shaft end play. This would necessitate internal transmission repair or replacement.
