Connecteur électrique corrodé ou desserré
Symptômes à surveiller
- Le voyant moteur est allumé
- Avertissement de surchauffe de transmission
- Changement de vitesse brutal
Comment Diagnostiquer
Solutions Courantes
**Replace the Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) Sensor:** This is the most frequent solution if the sensor itself is found to be faulty (exhibiting incorrect resistance, an open circuit, or a short). If the sensor is internal (part of the valve body or lead frame), this repair will require dropping the transmission pan and replacing the integrated component.
**Repair or Replace Damaged Wiring and Connectors:** Address any identified issues within the wiring harness leading to the TFT sensor, including corroded terminals, chafed wires, open circuits, or shorts. Ensure the sensor connector is clean, securely seated, and free of any corrosion or damage.
**Correct Transmission Fluid Level and Condition:** If the initial inspection revealed low, dirty, or burnt transmission fluid, performing a transmission fluid and filter service to bring the fluid to the correct level and quality can sometimes resolve erratic sensor readings, especially if the sensor was not fully submerged or was being affected by poor fluid properties.
**Replace the Transmission Control Module (TCM) or Powertrain Control Module (PCM):** This is a last-resort fix, only to be considered after the TFT sensor and its entire electrical circuit have been meticulously tested and confirmed to be functioning correctly. A faulty control module might be unable to accurately interpret the sensor's signal, leading to the P0711 code.
